As always, P2FB have been out on the front lines, driving and surviving, and now they're back with the news! This chapter finds P2 at his most lyrically open and heartfelt, while Stu and Blu pound out the rhythms beneath P2's trademark guitar snarls and organ swirls. Sit back and bask in the flange of "Soup's Up" and get lost in the epic dream tale of "The Great John West." Let "Tell Me What I'm Doing Wrong" keep you warm and find strength in "Everybody's Tryin'." P2's own "hand" is evident everywhere here, from the naked passion of the vocals, to the homemade album artwork.

"If You Listen To Too Many People" and "All I Want To Do Is..." are classic P2 rockers and the title track, with it's cinematic flair and raw romanticism, is also destined for P2FB stages for years to come.

HERITAGE WAY (2000)
Heritage Way
Tracks:
Summertime / Nowhere / Julianne Part II / Song For Keeps / Life of Paul / Guardian Angel / Beautiful Day / Feeling Port Aransas / Stumbling Free / Long Way Gone

Notes:
P2 further distances himself from the "Texas country" 'norm' with this solo, largely acoustic offering released in 2000. Playing most of the instruments himself and writing all of the songs, it is among the most heartfelt of the P2 collection. "Beautiful Day" and "Feeling Port Aransas" became live standards.

Suburban Legends
Tracks:
Colorado On Trial / Lovers Quarrel / Resume / Love Out Loud / Empty Rooms / Alice Is Feeling Ill / Drive In Movies / The Age of Sour Grapes / Yes It's So / The Visitor / Bruising Sheetrock / Something About Red

Notes:
Recorded in Nashville and released in 1999, this album takes P2 phans to a new place of rock-and-roll bombast. 'Legends' edgy sound and intense lyrical wit caught some "country" folks off guard, but today the album is often cited as the best in the P2 catalog by diehard Phans.

Tracks:
Rolling / Antarctica U.S.A. / Snuff Machine / Meet Me In Las Vegas / Maria / Down And Out On Cloud 9 / My Roommate / Playing In A Band / Katarina / Alive on 35 / Drink When I Think / The Encore

Notes:
Recorded at the Side Street Bar in Austin Texas in April 1997. This is the album that put P2 on the Texas music map as a pioneering rock-and-roll showman. Classics like "Rolling," "Antarctica USA," "Snuff Machine," "Katarina," and "Drink When I Think" have become college anthems, while songs like "Meet Me in Las Vegas" and "The Encore" displayed the songwriting chops of an evolving artist.
